I remember as a child growing up, my grandmother used to say "if you can't bring me flowers while I'm alive, don't send them to me when I'm dead." So, I used to pick wildflowers all the time and bring them in to her. She would smile, say thank you so much and put them in water in a vase. Which made me happy. So, basically, we were celebrating her life.
This is what we do with SendOutCards. We celebrate life. We don't wait until someone passes on before we decide to think about them and say nice things. We don't forget special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.. Also when people have accomplishments in their lives we recognize and celebrate them. Life deserves celebration!
Our objective with SendOutCards is to teach people to become card senders. A lot of you already are, you just need to learn the more modern convenient way of sending them. We have been in to convenience way back since the "tv dinner!"
So, why not take advantage of this convenient way of shopping for and sending out greeting cards in the mail?
An older gentleman, friend of mine, who lives away, who doesn't own a computer and doesn't want to own one, took the time to send the cutest card with the sweetest message to me. I was beaming from ear to ear when I received it! This is why I love doing what I'm doing, because I know how it makes me feel when I receive greeting cards. I know that other people feel the same. This is why I am passionate about what I do! Because we are TRULY "changing lives...one card at a time."
If all the world would send out love and send out to give instead of to receive, this world would be a better place to live in! So don't wait...celebrate life NOW!

What's On My Mind...
Everywhere I go...Facebook, Yahoo, Myspace they want to know what’s on my mind, what am I doing right now. Do you REALLY want to know what’s REALLY on my mind and what I’m doing?
What I’m doing is laying the groundwork for my dream. I AM... building my dream! Isn’t that what we all are in the process of doing? A lot of us are there at FB, Yahoo, & Myspace just connecting with old friends and family. Which is great! But, the majority of us there are connecting with friends & family... and...networking our dreams.
But, just yesterday, I took a quiz about Facebook that implied that people get annoyed with a lot of people because they are there mainly to network their dreams & I personally, see nothing wrong with that. I might come across someone that has something that I may be interested in & vice versa. No different than someone going from store to store to see what they have to offer. If I see something that I want or need then I will purchase. If not, no harm in looking!
Just a little FYI, my results showed that I was NOT one of the annoying people. : ) I answered truthfully, & most of my answers were no, except for 1 or 2.
Just like Spam. People receive advertisements in the mail every day and it’s considered just that...advertisements. However, in email terms, advertisements are considered Spam! Now granted, we know there are evil people out there (hackers) that SPAM your email and bad things happen! But, not EVERY advertisement is Spam! That’s just my personal opinion. I pick and choose which I prefer to open and which I do not. Plain & simple.
Instead of telling everyone, everything that I am doing, I try to post things about friends as that is what we are and to post positive things that may give someone encouragement that is having a bad day. Lord knows, we all have those sometimes.
For those of you that REALLY wanted to know what’s on my mind...that’s what’s on my mind! : )

Heartfelt Card Story
SendOutCards and Business OwnersPosted by Thomas Quintin
Tony came to work for me after twenty-three years with one company then left for a better offer after two days. I sent him a card wishing him good luck at his new job and telling him to give me a call some time to tell me how well he was doing.
A few weeks later, he called to say hello and thank me for the card, which I had forgotten I had sent. He told me that he never heard from the company that he had worked at for twenty-three years, but after working for me for only two days he had received a card. His voice broke as he said, "You don't know how much that meant to me."
I now make an extra effort to send a heartfelt card every day because I believe that for every Tony that calls to say thanks, there are many others that are just as moved but who never get around to expressing it.
